Even though visa processing times were substantially delayed due to the pandemic, our new postdocs—Dr. Maity, a Physicist from Banaras Hindu University, India and Dr. Kelestemur a Biotech Chemist from University of Health Sciences (SBU), Turkey—were able to make it to NYC, no matter the odds.
