Carlos, Our IDEALS CREST REU Summer Intern

Carlos was born and raised in Naranjito, Puerto Rico. In 2016, he received his Bachelor of Science degree from the School of Nursing at the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico. Carlos has worked as a head nurse in an emergency care unit for the past three years. In May 2020, Carlos completed his Pre-Medical studies at the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico. In June 2020, Carlos joined the Eisele research group as an intern from the IDEALS CREST REU program. He will be investigating the synthesis of polymer particles for Biomedical applications.
