Eisele Intern Accepted to MD/PhD program

Tatiana was accepted to an MD/PhD program at SUNY Upstate Medical University and is set to begin her career as a physician scientist. She aims to pursue scientific research that advances the field of medicine in parallel with patient care.The project she was working on during her internship at CDI involved design of polymeric nanoparticles which has introduced her to the field of nanomedicine, an extremely valuable opportunity for her as a future physician because of its rapid development and great potential for widespread adoption in drug delivery and diagnostics. During medical school, she would like to further explore her research interests and work on developing new methods of cancer treatment.
