Winning Poster at the CUNY Nanoscience Initiative Day

CUNY Nanoscience Initiative Day took place at the Advanced Science Research Center in September. Leading researchers got together to discuss the recent developments in nanoscience and its applications in biomedicine and energy harvesting.

Eisele Group members Visar Bedzeti and Damien Halpern won the poster competition with their poster titled “Synthesis and Characterization of Size Tunable Silica Nanoparticles”.

Visar is an undergraduate at the City College, and Damien has a BS in Applied Physics.
