September 6, 2018: Undergraduate Researcher, Emmanual Amoateng, is inaugurated to the CUNY School of Medicine!

Emmanuel is part of the Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education where he is currently pursuing his BS/MD. Emmanuel was recently presented with his white coat, at the “White Coat Ceremony for the Class of 2023”! At the white coat ceremony, Physician Assistants and BS/MD students are inaugurated into the CUNY School of Medicine! He wants to pursue Cardiothoracic Surgery during his residency.

Within the Eisele group, Emmanuel works on the encapsulation of self-assembling light-harvesting nanotubes, he has also studied energy transfer such as FRET. He plans to continue his work within the group through his medical career at the CUNY School of Medicine!
