August, 2018: The new Coherent Revolution-20 laser has been officially installed and integrated with the rest of the pump-probe system!

The new Coherent Revolution-20 laser has been officially installed and integrated with the rest of the pump-probe system! This Nd:YLF femtosecond laser will be a critical piece in the overall setup as it is needed for various spectroscopic investigations. After initial tests at 15 Amps, it was concluded that the laser ran flawlessly and was easy to control. After optimizing the entire system, experimentation can be expected as soon as possible, look out for updates! A big thanks to our friends at Coherent for making this possible!
