Materials Synthesis - Chemistry Lab
What WE DO:
Our group pursues precise control over shapes and sizes of self-assembled nanostructured materials. In our Materials Synthesis - Chemistry Lab, we design and synthesize a diverse range of nanomaterials - supramolecular assemblies, semiconductor nanocrystals, metallic nanoparticles, organic-inorganic hybrid systems - in our state-of-the-art chemical laboratory.
Our Chemistry Facilities:
Microfluidics and supramolecular synthesis
Steady-State spectroscopic Characterization - UV-vis and Fluorescence
Nanomaterials Characterization - dynamic light scattering, zeta potential, mobility, and rheological properties
Nano-Imaging and Spectroscopy - Physics Lab
What We Do:
We characterize structural, optical, and structure-dependent collective phenomena in our excitonic, plasmonic, and hybrid model systems - both in ensemble solutions and as isolated single nanostructures - by employing a comprehensive set of research tools in our high-resolution nano-imaging and spectroscopy facility.
OUR FACILITIES:
Multi-functional super-resolution microscope — AFM, Confocal, and Near-field Scanning Optical Microscopy
Transient Absorption Spectroscopy
Time-Resolved Photo Luminescence
